For FHE yesterday Taron and I made Salsa! We didn't have a recipe, Taron insisted that we just throw some ingredients together. At first when we made it I didn't like it very much but after sitting overnight in the fridge I enjoyed it much more. Though I still think next time I'm going to find some sort of recipe. If you have any good salsa recipes let me know! I would love to try it!
WOOHOO! You look so hot in your apron! Adorable :) haha and I love that you're watching Chuck. Miss you babe
ReplyDeleteLove both of your aprons!! And fresh salsa is the best! I can't wait until we have our own garden! (A fried of mine made hers with avocado a couple of weeks ago and I thought that was a genius idea!)
ReplyDeleteYour salsa probably didn't taste that good because you had an Aussie try to make it. Aussie don't make Mexican food, just so's you know. Better stick to the shrimp, mate.
ReplyDeleteI don't use a recipe when I make salsa usually. But here are my ingredients
ReplyDelete-tomato, cut up, and then salt slightly and let them drain to reduce the "watery"-ness
-Onion, usually white or yellow cut into a small dice
-1 Jalapeno, usually with some of the seeds taken out, but not all
- Fresh Garlic, use garlic press
- A bit of Garlic Salt
- Fresh Cilantro, lots and lots of Cilantro.
And yes it usually tastes better when it sits over night. But it looks like you had most of that in there!
Hugs! Good to see your faces!
